Legacyworks Theory of Change
If LegacyWorks hires youth navigating adversity as paid employees in creative social enterprises while
supporting their personal and social-emotional development, then youth will develop belonging, stability, and
self-determination. This occurs because social enterprises operate within an embedded culture of care where
mistakes are met with support rather than punishment. Economic stability serves as a vehicle for human
flourishing.
